Give members a CPD tool without building one
Your members need somewhere to plan, record and evidence their CPD. Building that yourself means a platform to procure, maintain, support and keep current with your own rule changes. aircpd gives you the configuration tools, the activity publishing and the compliance oversight, and gives your members a tool they’ll actually use.
Your rules, as configuration, not a development project
Describe your CPD requirements and get a working programme template. Cycle length and start rule. Targets, in hours, credits or discrete pieces. Category minimums, percentage splits and caps on informal learning. Reflection and witness requirements. How and when members submit.
If your rules change, and they do, that’s a new version of your configuration, dated and tracked, not a rebuild.
Your body’s CPD rules are probably already drafted
We’ve researched how 36 UK and Ireland professional bodies define CPD and turned each into a structured configuration template. If yours is among them, setup is a review: read the summary, correct anything we’ve got wrong, approve it.
Approval is always an explicit action by someone at your organisation. A programme your members are measured against never goes live because a default was left untouched.
Three ways members join
Members can download aircpd and find their body themselves. Or you can distribute activation codes or QR codes by email, dropping members straight into a pre-configured dashboard with their body, tier and cycle already set. Or your employer clients can provision access via SSO as a workplace benefit.
All three routes land in the same product. The member always owns the record.
Publish activities. Verify attendance automatically.
Publish courses, webinars and live events so members can find them and log them in one step. For live events, attendance is confirmed by QR check-in at the door, which means the entry on a member’s record is verified evidence, captured at the moment it happened, with no attendance sheet to type up afterwards.
Where your content is relevant to professionals on other programmes, it can be discoverable to them too.
See the cohort, not the individual
A live view of how your membership is tracking: who’s on course, who’s at risk, and where the shortfalls cluster. If a fifth of your members are short on verifiable hours going into the final quarter, you’ll know in time to do something about it.
You see aggregate compliance. Never individual records.
This is a deliberate limit, not a feature we haven’t got to yet.
Members own their CPD record, including their reflections and their evidence. You see percentages, gaps and trends across the cohort, never the content of one person’s reflective account. Individual detail reaches you only where your programme rules require a formal submission, and then only the submitted package.
We’re firm about this because it’s what makes the whole thing work. Members are candid in a record they trust is private, and a candid record is the only kind worth having.
Nothing for your team to run
No infrastructure to procure. No platform to maintain. No first-line support queue for a system your members only log into twice a year. You configure the programme and publish the content; the tooling isn’t your problem.
