The shape of the problem
Accountancy CPD rules are rarely a single number. They are a three-year total with a yearly minimum inside it, a proportion that must be verifiable, an ethics floor that must be verifiable too, and a declaration at the end of it. Get the arithmetic wrong and the first you hear of it is a request for a remediation plan on a short deadline.
